Celia Franco Mora’s goal in life is to help change how the world sees Schizophrenia and related mental health conditions. She lives with Schizoaffective Disorder Depressive type. She has been in recovery for two years following years of being acutely ill. She considers it an honor to be able to help others through her advocacy. Celia is an Advocacy Board member of Students with Schizophrenia. Together with NAMI, Celia is an Ending the Silence presenter. She hopes to reach and help children. She is training to become an In Our Own Voice presenter as well to help train law enforcement. She is also a Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America group leader. She enjoys a lot of hobbies, especially archery, cross stitching and training her dogs. She also works full-time as a custodian at a school.
