Let’s Collaborate

Students With Psychosis has collaborated with over 100 events. We maintain long-standing relationships with prominent universities, including Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, and with leading national mental health organizations such as Mental Health America (MHA), the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), One Mind, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). We also bring our advocacy and the lived experience voice to the global stage, collaborating with international organizations such as the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) and the United Nations (UN).

Ongoing Mental Health America

DIY Digital Tool & Psychosis Screening

Students With Psychosis is partnering with MHA on structured interviews, feedback sessions, and filming to help shape their DIY digital tools, including their online psychosis screen and “What Is Psychosis Like?” tool, identifying strategies to address fears, disclosure barriers, and next steps for the people who use them. The collaboration draws on lived experience to make these free, anonymous tools more accessible and supportive for people navigating a possible first episode of psychosis.

Ongoing One Mind

Flourish@Work Pilot Program

One Mind’s new pilot, Flourish@Work, partners with employers to help workers with serious mental illness successfully retain their jobs and grow their careers. The pilot begins in 2026, enrolling its first participants in January 2027, with a goal of supporting nearly 15,000 workers with SMI over its first five years. Students With Psychosis’ involvement has included distributing surveys among our community and participating in focus groups to help shape the program.

Completed Society of Digital Psychiatry

Learning Collaborative on Patient AI Use

A learning collaborative organized through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School examining how clinicians can recognize, document, and respond to patients’ use of generative AI in mental health care, including how the structural tendencies of LLMs can interact with psychiatric vulnerabilities. The collaborative concluded in July 2026, with sessions and materials shared publicly. Students With Psychosis was actively involved and represented a lived experience perspective of SMI.
