We help families of loved ones living with psychosis make the important, life-changing academic decisions for which their student has little guidance.

If you feel exhausted, frightened, or unsure of what the right next step is, that response makes sense. You are not failing your student, and you are not the only family living this. Our Family Membership is designed to help families achieve greater success and gain more resources throughout their student’s educational journey. With direct support from our team and families in similar situations, you can resolve sensitive academic issues and join a close-knit community dedicated to helping each other thrive.

What Comes Next

Steps After You Join

You do not have to navigate psychosis alone. Find community and support. Psychosis is not the main character of your story.

  1. Enroll

    Join online and you will receive a confirmation email and a welcome message from our team.

  2. Book your setup call

    We send a scheduling link for a one-on-one call with an SWP representative, a real person who becomes a point of contact for your family.

  3. Set up your accounts

    Together we create logins for your student and up to two family members, get everyone onto our secure server, review the Community Agreement, and walk through the calendar so you know what to attend and when and direct you through our resource directory and accommodations database.

  4. Join your first Family Huddle

    Meet other families at one of our twice-weekly virtual huddles and get invites to additional calendar events, and your student can begin joining daily chats, study hall, weekly peer support, etc.

The Family Membership includes everything in the Student Membership plus coverage for up to two additional family members, a one-on-one introductory and account setup call with an SWP representative, no faculty advisor or partner organization required to join, the option to enroll a student under 18 under parent or guardian supervision, twice-weekly virtual family huddles, an optional SWP Gala planning leadership role, and early access to the College Re-entry Program.
